I get locked down, but I get up again

Apologies to Chumbawamba for adapting their lyrics to Tubthumping from 1998 (yes it really is that long ago!), but there is something apt about the song and its sentiments in the light of the last year.  People, businesses, livelihoods have all been knocked down in the past year, due to Coronavirus and we don’t intend to dwell on this, but instead look ahead and not in the rear view mirror.

What is clearly happening in the present and in the future is some sort of economic recovery. Footfall in town and city centres is rising and people are just relieved to return to some sort of normality, we believe.

What the pandemic did do was make many people and businesses re-evaluate their ways of operating and marketing. We’ve seen an explosion in freelancers across the UK. Many people, previously employed and commuting in to offices and shops, have found a taste for remote working and have invested in their own micro-businesses. These people know that to become established, survive and thrive, they need to invest in branding – whether that’s an office, a small retail unit or with a vehicle.

Zoom and Google Meet have replaced face-to-face meetings and even Apple, that famously locked garden, is releasing FaceTime to Android users and allowing scheduling of video calls in iOS 15 this autumn.

So how can Seymour Sign and Print help you with business?

In a nutshell, branding.

If you want to promote what you do out and about, vehicle graphics for your car, van or lorry, fleet, may be just the ticket. Now we’re not talking slapdash stickers placed on bonnets and boots. We’re talking precision brand marketing that will last years and get eyeballs on what you’re selling and doing.

You’ve converted a spare room at home into a study and you know you’re going to rely heavily on digital to showcase what you’re doing. You perhaps need office graphics, to show the world on your Instagram, Facebook and YouTube feeds that you take what you do seriously. It may be bedroom 3 on a blank floorplan, but to people watching and deciding whether to use your accountancy, web design, copywriting services, it could make or break that deal.

You may have invested in a commercial space to create separation from home and again this magnolia backdrop may need some TLC from office branding experts like Seymour Sign and Print. Again we can help.

Finally, do not underestimate the power of print – whether that’s on your car, walls, windows or stationery.

With events and networking returning, print matters now. We can help your company with:

  • Exhibitions and Shell Schemes
  • Booklets and Brochures
  • Photocopying and Scanning
  • Posters
  • Flyers and Leaflets
  • Business Cards
  • NCR Pads and Books
  • Roller Banners
  • PVC Banners
  • Invoice and Receipt books
  • Stickers and Labels
  • Foamex Prints

and more!

Talking of rear view mirrors, look closely at what’s behind you the next time you’re on the M60

Make a value judgement on what you see when driving or walking. Do those vehicle graphics tempt you to do business with that company? What would you have on your car or van to promote your services?

Then look to us to guide you, to get back up again.
